Raise money for a good cause at #goatfundme at Blind Lady Ale House

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - We have all heard of GoFundMe, but have you ever heard of a goatfundme?

This Sunday, December 30th at Blind Lady Ale House 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the Wild Willow Farm & Education Center. The center is a six-acre working farm located near the U.S.-Mexico border. They are in their third year of growing food while educating local citizenry about sustainable farming, permaculture and how to live sustainably in our region. The farm continues to evolve rapidly both on and off the ground.

The funds from the event will support building a rotational-grazing pasture for the centers goats.

In addition to the 10% of all sales, Blind Lady Ale House will also hold a silent auction and a #goatfundme photo contest. Enter your funny, cute or regal photo into the contest by tagging Wild Willow Farm and include the hashtag #goatfundme on Instagram or Facebook.

Cathryn Henning from Wild Willow Farm and Lee Chase from Blind Lady Ale House stopped by with some goats to talk about this weekend’s fundraiser.

If you are unable to attend, but still want to contribute you can donate here
