The boy was found in Chula Vista when officers were serving a temporary restraining order on a home. The child was taken to the Polinksky Center.

An Amber Alert was issued about 11 p.m. Thursday for Jaden Jose, who was taken from a home near the 9500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard about 3:30 p.m. by his father, John Jose, according to police.

The search for Jaden led authorities to the San Diego area Thursday night. Deputies went to a home in the 3000 block of Bonita Mesa Road in Bonita to search for the boy and his father, according to Lt. A. Aldana of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Neither the boy nor his father was at the location, Aldana said.
